Writing, photography, travel; to be able to ultimately combine the three is Elizabeth's long-term goal. Curiosities have been explored and satiated while assisting the destitute in orphanages in India; trekking the Himalayas in Nepal; and riding horseback at dusk through the sandy dunes of the great pyramids. Following graduation from St. Olaf College in 1994
with a BA in English, Elizabeth pursued an MA in Print Journalism
from The University of Arizona and a BFA in Applied Photography,
specifically Photojournalism, from Rochester Institute of Technology
in New York. Currently employeed as a staff photographer at the
Post-Bulletin in Rochester, MN, Elizabeth, an award-winning photographer,
also shoots weddings, focusing primarily on a documentary approach.
